Ultra trail running

Ultra trail running

Running is one of my greatest passions, and my journey as a runner has been nothing short of an adventure. It all started in 2010, when I crossed the finish line of the New York Marathon in 3:28:00. That race lit a fire in me that never went out.

Since then, Iโ€™ve chased marathons across iconic cities like Valencia and along the mystical shores of Loch Ness. But after years on the road, I craved something wilderโ€”more raw. In 2021, I set my sights on mountain trails, and by 2022, I was climbing the rugged peaks of the Faroe Islands in my first off-trail half-marathon.

In 2024, I crossed a new frontier: my first Ultra Trail raceโ€”the Laugavegur Ultra Marathon in Iceland. The landscapes were otherworldly, and the challenge was next-level. I was hooked.

But that same year brought my biggest test yet - heart surgery. It forced me to stop, reflect, and rebuild. Coming back wasnโ€™t just about recovery - it was about transformation. Iโ€™ve since redefined my relationship with the sport, approaching my training with the focus and discipline of a pro athlete. I'm stronger, smarter, and more driven than ever.

On this page - and on my Instagram - Iโ€™ll keep sharing my running adventures โ€” on trails, through mountains, and beyond.
